A wash bottle is a container used in a laboratory to hold pure water and is equipped with a device to emit a stream of fine liquid. There are two commonly used blow out type and extrusion type. The blowout type is composed of a flat-bottomed glass flask and a bottle opening device, a short blowpipe and a long outlet pipe; The extrusion type is composed of a plastic bottle with a thin mouth and an outlet pipe with a bottle mouth device.
`Wash bottles are used for quantitative transfer of solution and for washing and transfer of precipitation.
